Eight problems, graded from routine to demanding, covering every subtopic taught on this site. Each solution is revealed one step at a time, so you can stop at the line that unsticks you rather than seeing the whole thing at once. Work in a notebook first — the steps are much more useful as a check than as a script.

How to use these

  • Attempt the problem in full before revealing anything.
  • Reveal one step. If that is enough, close it and carry on alone.
  • Compare your final answer with the one on the card — a different-looking but equivalent answer is often still correct.
