Assess

Four Self-Marking Assessments

Each assessment marks itself as you go and keeps a running score, broken down by the four achievement categories. Every one of the four carries questions from all four categories, so whichever you choose you are practising the whole range.

Multiple-choice options are shuffled each time you start again, and the distractors are not filler: each one is a specific misconception — a sign error on a normal, a forgotten absolute value, a dot product mistaken for a verdict. If you pick one, the worked solution will usually tell you exactly which mistake you made.

Your answers are saved in this browser only, so you can close the tab and come back. Nothing is sent anywhere.

The four categories

  • K — recalling a form, a normal, a formula.
  • A — applying a known method to new numbers.
  • T — choosing the method, or working backwards.
  • C — explaining in sentences. These stay open-response, with a model answer and a marking rubric you tick yourself.
